Chilling out right there and had this thing on my mind for a while and it actually came up inside a private form area that I have for my underground strength coaches, those peeps that have been through the www.UndergroundStrengthCoachCertification.com. A great fitness video is about more than reading a script on camera. It’s an opportunity for you to tell your story and show the human side of your business. Many people prefer videos because it’s an easy way to digest information that doesn’t require much work on their part. Since you’re a personal trainer, you probably have a killer personality that engages people, but if you can’t convey that in a video, you’re better off finding a friend, a spouse, or a client who can. You also don’t want every video to feature 20 minutes of “the talking head” – unless, of course, you were intending to bore people to tears! Needless to say, you want to access the best tools available to make your fitness video a success. Here are 10 tools we recommend for creating your next video… Put your photos to music to get a professional-looking video. This would be ideal for showing stills from your fitness boot camp or classes, along with motivational music that makes people want to join in on the fun. You can also create a video testimonial of “before” and “after” shots of your clients – with their permission, of course! […]

In NYC I ran into someone who I met a while ago at Ryan Lee’s event. His name is Stephen Cabral and he is absolutely CRUSHING it. Get this…. His studio does 7 figures and it’s only 727 square feet!!! I am going to go out on a limb and say that he is by far the pound for pound champion of the WORLD or in this case (revenue per square feet generated champion.) If you do the calculation $1,000,000.00/727= $1375.51 per square foot He makes $1375.51 per square feet from his facility. S*** In comparison I have done as much as 2.4 million from $5000 square feet. So my revenue per square feet is 2,400,000.00/5000= $480 per square foot. All I have to say is WOW….. So I had to chase him down and BEG him to reveal his secrets. KILLER information you don’t want to miss…. [spoiler] Sam Bakhtiar: Here we go. Hey. What’s going on guys? It’s your main man Sam here with my boy Steve Cabral. Hey Steve. What’s up?   Stephen Cabral: Not too much. A long day. I actually [Inaudible] 36, 40 hours in three days in the summer here.   Sam Bakhtiar: I’m […]

(sending an email from 30K feet is kinda cool ;) I totally miss my girls and can’t wait to get home and spend some quality time with the family. Quick Reminder: If You Want To Run A Successful Sports Training Business Then This is For You OK, as promised here are 6 quick lessons from the NYC   Create a vision for you clients. Sell them dreams not products. Example: Don’t sell them weight loss instead sell them on how losing weight will effect their entire family’s health. Sell them how losing weight can positively effect their children’s life. Products come and go but VISION is FOREVER. A great example of this is Apple’s  “Think Different” campaign”   I know this sounds basic but are you REALLY making your clients feel special? REALLY? I mean REALLY……. Example: Wow your clients each and every day. I’m currently listening to an audio book (almost finished) titled “Fred Factor”. It talks about this very subject. I Highly recommend picking it up listening to it and more importantly IMPLEMENTING IT.   It’s better to […]

Running a contest or asking for client suggestions was the method of choice for driving referrals or drumming up business. In the age of mobile marketing, this old dinosaur approach is totally dated! The Direct Marketing Association predicted that 89 percent of all companies would use text and multimedia messaging to reach their prospects by 2008 – and you know what? They are! Companies are spending nearly $743 million a year on mobile marketing campaigns, so why aren’t you? Try The Best Fitness Mobile Marketing Platform For $1 Just like people choose to fill out the lead box card, they also choose to opt into your mobile messaging service. Why? They do so because you make it irresistible. You are offering a coupon, special discount or freebie to everyone who responds to your text ad. What’s not to like about that? Secondly, you need to think about all the opportunities you’re missing without a mobile campaign. How many people do you think pass by your lead box, without a second glance? (Probably hundreds.) Conversely, mobile messages are beamed right to your prospects’ hands. The response rate is incredible! The average campaign sees a response rate that is anywhere from 4 […]
