Can a 5 Year Old Understand Your Brand?

Can a 5 Year Old Understand Your Brand?

Fresh Impressions on Brandmarks (from my 5-year-old)   What did you think about the video? These are multimillion dollar and multibillion companies spending lots of money for brand recognition and a people will still get mixed up. That is one of the reasons that direct response marketing is the most efficient way to get a greater ROI. Here are my thoughts on branding: –          Make it clear what you stand for –          Make it simple to understand –          Most trainers are not building multimillion brands and don’t have the budget to spend on name recognition. That being said you are building your brand daily with anything you say and do so make it count. –          It is important to do but it is a long-term investment. –          You will get paid more for who you are instead of what you do if you can build a strong enough brand. Every time you post something on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest or any social media you are contributing to your brand.  Anytime you give a talk, presentation, speech or keynote you are branding yourself and your business. Every time you train a client, every time you interact with your clients or prospects […]

Yes Yes Yes. I did it…. I finally got to talk and interview the GODFATHER of fitness marketing. The one and only Ryan Lee. Ryan is one of the most genuine down to earth people that I have ever met and it’s always a pleasure to talk to. He is the kind of person that just has such a great energy and vibe. Watch this interview as I surprise Ryan by asking him some unexpected questions and put him on the spot. Ryan talks about the state of the fitness industry now and how the pendulum has totally shifted in the fitness industry. I am trying to bring Ryan back to the fitness industry just one more time. Can you please leave a comment below and help me convince him to come back Ryan Lee with Sam Bakhtiar [spoiler]Sam Bakhtiar: Hey, everybody. It’s your main man Seven-figure Sam here and you cannot believe who I got here with me on Skype. I’m interviewing the one and only Ryan Lee. What’s up, Ryan? Ryan Lee: What’s going on, Sam? How are you doing, buddy? Sam Bakhtiar: Man, I’m doing fantastic. I’m on the top of the world, man. I got the […]

My friend and the whiz kid Michael Salvietti just showed me his incredible 90 day fitness marketing warfare and I just had to have him share it with other Super Trainers. Please key in the password in the appropriate field: (password = fitness) You can zoom in and out of the image using the controls found near the bottom.   [spoiler] What is up, Super-Trainers? This is Mike Salvietti from Long Island, New York and I would like to share with you a little mind map I did which I’m going to call my 90-day Action Plan. So let’s jump right into it. First, I want to give a little shout out to Brian Devlin who told me about Mindomo which is a great mind map software. You can even host it on your website as you can see here. I have it on RockYourBodyBootCamp.com/MindMap. If you want to check it out there, you can. It’s password-protected but the password is “fitness” so you can look at this whole mind map right there if you like. So, first thing is first. We’ve got four things here. These are what Pat Rigsby taught me as the four pillars. You’ve got your […]

What You Say vs What You Do

What You Say vs What You Do

A Post On The Right Way To Build A Business By Pat Rigsby Politicians stump on campaign promises that they have little if any intention of delivering on. It’s marketing at it’s worst. Leaders or prospective leaders telling people what they want to hear through every medium possible in order to get their vote. Whatever it takes to get them elected. In the fitness world, every health club on the planet advertises how they’re the solution to give you the body that you’ve always wanted – knowing good and well that once they have your name on the contract they’ll essentially forget about you and be on to chasing the next naïve prospect. This ‘art’ of overpromising and under delivering certainly isn’t exclusive two politics and fitness – it goes on everywhere. I just happen to see more of it there because it’s so well publicized in politics and I’m immersed in the fitness industry. The Truth…And The Opportunity The amazing thing about this trend is that it’s actually presented you with a marketing opportunity – or perhaps a better way of putting it – a position in the market. If you’re willing to deliver on what you promise…or better yet […]
