Before I begin to talk about my To Do List, I wanted to share an email from a coaching client that totally made my day.   Hey Sam, I just wanted to send you a note letting you know that you are by far the best coach that I have had so far. You really know how to run a biz and you are a perfect mentor and leader for those looking to reach their goals and dreams. I aspire to have a business and influence like you in the future. Thanks, Ian OK, let’s get down to buzzzzinneez shall we…. After a whole day in our “WAR” room, my partner and I came up with KILLER FITNESS MARKETING and implemetation strategies for 2012. Many people ask me “aren’t you afraid to share your strategies with your competition?”  My answer to that is heeeeeellllll to the nooooooooo. Even though that I know these busters are watching and imitating my every move, knowing is one thing and doing and it is another ;) So without further ado, here is my 2012 to do list for just ONE of my businesses ;) www.TheCampBootCamp.com which is a Chino Hills Boot Camp 1) SEO: […]

Break out of the fitness industry norms – the majority is almost always wrong and are always behind. Recycle what you do. Deliver the same content in different formats. Fitness coaching programs, infoproducts, Bootcamps to Go – they’re all the same stuff packages in different formats. Small hinges swing big doors. A few small, but strategic changes can make big differences to the bottom line. A different way to look at your market is to find price gaps instead of pricing the way everyone else does.  If you can get a health club membership for $39, a bootcamp membership for $199 and 1 on 1 personal training for $500 – the gaps are $99 and $299-399.  What can you offer there? Joining the Chamber of Commerce is like joining a gym.  Most will do nothing with their membership, but if you take advantage of everything they offer it can be a huge difference maker. If you have no money – knock on doors, hustle, network and make something happen every day. Roll up your sleeves and go to work. You can overcome a lack of money with an abundance of hustle in most areas. Successful people have a sense of […]

With a large fitness business, it is quite easy to see that there are a lot of things involved, but even with in home fitness businesses there are various processes, such as: The planning. The prospecting. The execution of the tasks. The communication. The payment handling. The accounting. The payroll.   If you are planning to be a fitness business entrepreneur, you can see that there are many things for you to do.   Now, with the Internet making the whole world such a closely-woven arena, you can find professionals to handle every kind of task. They will even plan your entire business venture for you if you have the cash. However, at least initially, you will be on a budget and would like to outsource only things that you really cannot do. The best idea, then, is to outsource some of the execution aspect of your fitness business. Like: Fitness content writing Payment handling Graphic design Customer service Trade show presence Flyer distribution Lead boxes (NOT!) What’s up all my Super-Trainer Family? Hopefully, you are reading this right now and enjoying another morning, afternoon, or evening of success at your studio/gym/boot camp. I also hope you have been able to take little nuggets from all these posts the past months and implement them into your business to deliver a better service, offer more value to your clients, and ultimately put some extra cash in your pockets. I know the past two months have been pretty insane for me personally. My studio has not necessarily blown up, however, it has slowly grown! I know something is better than nothing, but lets be real…we are NOT in the industry to do descent and be average; I AM HERE TO DOMINATE AND TO BE THE BEST IN THE GAME. I don’t say this to be arrogant or cocky…I say it because it means 3 things if I AM THE BEST! Okay, so this leads me to some awesome content I received yesterday at JT Foxx’s MegaPartnering IV event in Chicago. He spoke on what we need to do as business owners to be the absolute best and most successful you can be. So, here they are…there are ONLY 6 […]
