Fitness Marketing – Knowing when to expand Q&A Part 2

You can’t sit behind a computer and try and learn everything out there. So you got to figure out what is your strength and I was a business owner and we believe it’s all about relational. This is something that a computer robot can’t do. They cannot connect at an emotional level. We need to meet people. We need to shake people’s hands and not hide behind the computer and outsource all that crap and go get a [Indiscernible]. I mean you sit right on there. If you look at Jeopardy, who’s like – you know, who’s like the best – who’s the all-time jeopardy champion?

Now we want to expand but we didn’t have a decision framework. I’m not saying write the freaking thing down on a piece of paper from A to Z and you put in the blanks. Decision framework is simple. It’s how much revenue I’m going to make. If I’m not making it, I got to get my ass in gear and figure out ways to make that revenue. These are all the possibilities and if I hit certain trigger points, I know this time. That’s a different question whether you want to open up another gym or you want to call someone or you want to buy an equity stake in something, if you want to trade an information product because those require a different level of marketing skill set.

Sam: What’s up Super-Trainers? It’s your boy Seven-Figure Sam here in front of Floyd Mayweather’s Boxing Club. My boy Kip. What’s up, man?
Kip: What’s happening? How are you doing, brother?
Sam: He is my brother from another mother. As you can see, we’re related. You know, so he’s the champ’s bodyguard, man. So I want to ask you, man. What’s it like to be the champ’s bodyguard man? I mean you got like all these people trying to get in here. I mean obviously your size speaks for itself. Like, how do you protect the champ?

Fitness Marketing – How to Find a PA Q&A Part 2

I would go as high as $3000 a month for an awesome person. An awesome person to me is someone who can take my blog post, video, someone who I can give them a video, they can learn the shit and immediately do the stuff over and over and over. So I don’t mind to combine the cost in videos and giving to that person and they know exactly how it is.
Understand that you’re looking for an employee for the long term. It’s going to take you two or three months. You find that person. You start now. You got all these people. You give them challenges and you find the right one. I think you build that relationship off with them.

I’ve got 20 people that work with me pretty much fulltime all overseas. Sam obviously has more but what I’ve learned through the process is that there’s a hiring system and then once you hire them and then you got good people that’s actually doing the task and managing it, something like a hiring system. This is what I do.

Let’s just say I want to hire someone to do an admin task so I would go to Elance. OK? And what I would do in Elance is there are a few things that I do. I will post the job and tell them exactly what I want them, not too much in detail. I will post a project and then 15 to 20 people will come in and they will bid for the project, right? So what I do is – my intention is to find the right person so I will make a project private meaning I do not show the bids that people are placing. OK? And I will tell you why in a second. Only you can see the bids people are placing.
