Today I am going to share with you how to build a Real Business and how you can use this information to grow your fitness business the right way.   Most of us get into the fitness business because we were tired of giving all of our money to the big chain gyms. With the low cost of entry every trainer and their brother want to open their own studio or boot camp. Almost every trainer I know claims to have their own business. Really, all they are is an independent contractor at someone else’s studio.   The problem is they don’t own a business, they own a job. They have no employees or assistants. If they take a vacation it cost them double. The cost of the vacation plus the cost of the missed sessions amounts to one expensive trip.   Most trainers look at training as a hobby. Hey there, Jonas “Honey Badger” Deffes here… I don’t know about YOU but I’m totally disgusted with all these Group Deal sites. I know some of yall built a business over night with them and love them and crap.. so this post probably isn’t for you or maybe it is ..I really don’t give a shit. So the reality is these sites expect you to split profits usually at around 50% and make the deal rock bottom for like a whole month of boot camp for $50 bucks or less…. Plus they expect you to pay all kind of hidden charges as well. Hell No, that’s like almost a dollar a day you get and on top of that, you have to convert these people to paying a normal price of $150 plus dollar program? Ughh. FAIL! Well I’m sure some trainers can swing it….mad Props to them for the extra work.. it’s just not worth it for me ..all that extra work and dealing with the workout tourist. You know the type I’m talking about all too well. They’re incessantly calling and leaving longwinded voice mails. They’re yammering on and on about their problems during your most vital 9-5 time slot. They’re scheduling personal training time with you and blowing you off at the last minute. They’re forwarding chain emails to your account almost daily. They’re dropping into your office to shoot the shit. These insidious pests may not even realize they’re cutting into your productivity and driving you bonkers at all. That’s because you’ve failed to set boundaries and communicate them to everyone you come into regular contact with.     In this business, TIME IS MONEY! Never forget that.
