Let me tell you something……

There is no one way to success.

Don’t let anyone fool you.

I keep hearing some gurus talk about how they and their methods
are the only way to success.

(Yet don’t own and operate a fitness business)

They say things like:

“My coaching clients this, my coaching clients that”

“My boot camp franchisees make multiple 6 figures”

“Everything I touch turns into gold”

“I make money out of thin air”

“Back in the day, I sold my businesses for XYZ figures”

Bull S***

If you believe that then back in the day I was like 6’7″ tall too ;)

I think we would get more value if they instead talk about their many failures.

There is nothing wrong with failing.

Hiding behind them and not being transparent however is a different story.

Instead of talking about the VERY few boot camp franchisees that are successful, talk about
the 50-60% of the ones that didn’t make it and went out of business, or the other
35% that are struggling. (And what are they doing about it)

Most gurus and people in general are afraid to talk about their failures. Especially
their current failures. They think it will affect their bottom line.

Nothing can be further from the truth.

Transparency increases trust, which in turn increases sales.

In this day and age, you can’t hide anymore. If you have a crappy product or service the
word will get out and get out fast.

Now, everyone makes mistakes not everyone is always going to be happy with you.


It’s YOUR duty to respond fast and address the problem.

Worst thing you can do is ignore it.

An unsatisfied customer in your business is YOUR greatest opportunity
for a raving fan.

I love when somebody complains. It gives me an opportunity
to bond with them at a deeper level.

It’s kinda like “the make up sex”.

I was once thought that for people to buy from
you they must know you, like you and trust you.


I could care less about people liking me.

I am not here to win a popularity contest.

I am not “captain save a hoe”

When I fly, I don’t know or like the pilot. I trust him.

And my clients TRUST me that I have their best interest at heart.

They know that I am married to their success.

(kinda like the pilot is to the flight. If you die he dies)

That’s all that matters.

Too many people walking around with lost souls trying to make
sure everyone “likes” them.

Be you.

Don’t be afraid to call a spade a spade.

People with respect you for calling it like it is and standing
up for what you believe.
