YES – that’s exactly what I love about direct-response marketing… that it’s immediate.
If you’ve tested your postcards/doorhangers/etc and have seen an ROI that makes you at least break even in 30 days.. then what on earth can hold you back from going large and rolling out 10k or even 20k pieces?
Break even on the first month, then KNOW that your business will +$2,000 to $4,000 in monthly EFT in the next month (using a bootcamp as example).
Man really, when I started listening to http://www.Ilovemarketing.com I kept thinking to myself “Can it really be that easy?”.
Btw, awesome video Sam – Victoria & I can’t wait to hang out in Phoenix this September :)
Hey Mike.. the only thing i would be cautious about rolling out 10k or 20k pieces is having all the systems in place and making sure that your funnels are converting.
I had a friend that was rolling out huge numbers of post cards in the real estate industry.
He started small then built up to huge numbers.. his system worked at first but when he started getting to a bigger volume of pieces he had to outsource parts of his marketing funnel out ….
His cards were converting but the his outsourced funnel was not converting like it was suppose to. He had a broken spoke in his system and ultimately was the death of his business. When you have a broken spoke at high volumes it be a total loss.
@Jonas – Thanks for the words of advice. That is something I am cautious of right now. I am a one stop shop for my fitness business. I do everything.
Note to self: Before rolling out big marketing schemes, make sure all my ducks are lined up.
