[spoiler]
Kaiser here. By now, you know what this is. You’re watching me as part of the blog on Super-Trainer.com and this little video is to go along with a recent post I just put up on the blog, having to do with in-home training or the way I like to call it is on-location training and I wanted to clear up a few things here.

I mean first off, this type of training where you see the person, the clients at their location, it has kind of gotten a bad rap or negative connotation in the industry. I mean when people here this is how I do things, I always get the feeling that they’re looking on it negatively. Like they all say that, “Oh, so you train people in their homes?” or they might ask, “So where do you train them?” And they don’t really see the benefits of this system. I mean as long as you manage your area properly, if the clients’ homes that you go to are not far from the public place, if it’s a park where you’re training out of or the trainer’s gym, then there’s really no downtime and no wasted time.

But there are positives because if you do go out of your way to give this extra service to clients, you can charge more for that and you can make it more convenient for the client and you don’t have the overhead of a gym or the rent you have to pay to a training facility or the day rate or anything like that.

So as long as you’re managing your schedule the right way, it’s something that will completely work for you and even bring you more money than if you had to have a place where you train people out of and that would even limit them to some degree to their options in terms of training. And that’s really the second point that when you do this type of training, there are no limits. I mean you can have any type of technique or do anything you want with a client and you can even market it this way to them that this type of training style is superior to what you would be able to do or what you would be limited by in a gym environment.

I mean if you’re following some of the stuff going on in the training industry and what a lot of the big name trainers are saying is that all those rows and rows of equipment you see in the big health clubs are really unnecessary. What you really need is the basics to get someone active and to get them in shape.

So yes, I just want to make those two little points that wherever you’re starting from, if you’re a trainer just getting started and your only option right now is seeing people at their place, there’s nothing wrong with that. That’s something that you can build on, you can grow, you can charge high rates for and you can carry to a much higher level, to a really good drive and training practice. I mean what it really comes down to is you, how you carry yourself and present yourself.

If you let people know that this is the better way to train and I’m making it more convenient for you, helping you make it a part of your life and we’re bringing techniques and just style of training that really couldn’t be replicated in the gym setting. I mean if you really bring forth the positives, then anything that could potentially be negative about the situation really falls to the background.

None of the clients I train feel that this is an inferior style or a worse situation in any way than, I don’t know, having a studio or having a gym. I mean they love the way I do things and it’s a cornerstone of my training practice and what I’m about.

So I just want to get that across and there are more details and I talk more about the subject in the blog post. Check that out on Super-Trainer.com and yes, you will be hearing from me soon. Thanks.
