Update from Jersey at the Fast Track To Fitness Millions Marketing Event For Personal Trainers!
Posted on 30. May, 2009 by Kaiser.
Just got done with the second action-filled day at the FAST TRACK TO FITNESS MILLIONS event. Man, today was crazy but I’ll get to that later …
The first thing I’ve got say is how well run and polished this thing was – you’d hardly believe it was the first big event to be put on by fitness business experts Pat Rigsby, Nick Berry, and Jim Labadie.
And secondly, they attracted a tremendous crowd of nearly 300 personal trainers, bootcamp instructors, and fitness marketing entrepreneurs. It was a sharp bunch of heavy hitters looking to do serious damage in this industry.
Lastly, what stands out is the incredible line-up of speakers. The full gamut of topics on how exactly to succeed in fitness today (not 20 years ago) was covered from top to bottom.
The best part, for me was getting to meet up with all of the other industry people. We’re spread out all over the country, so these events are really the only time for all of us to meet face-to-face – that’s what makes them so fantastic.
Here are some pics of a few of the people I hung out with over the weekend:

Pat’s one of the top fitness business leaders, with a hand in so many diverse projects that it’s hard to keep up. The work he does impacts a huge number of fitness professional in some way every day.
Me and Pat got on the phone about his new FAST TRACK TO FITNESS MILLIONS event, being held in New Jersey next weekend. If you are anywhere on the east coast, I highly encourage you to check it out.

CONTINUITY SUMMIT RECAP: Another Transformational Event By Ryan Lee
Posted on 18. May, 2009 by Kaiser.
Ok so here’s the deal – I’m sitting here in the lobby of the Hilton in Stamford Connecticut, after all of the madness that was THE CONTINUITY SUMMIT – I’m pecking away on the computer at a few things I wanted to implement tonight – the event ended earlier today, and I decided to stay an extra night at the hotel, to kind of decompress and sort through all of my notes, etc. Doug is passed out on the couch – we’ve gone through a few straight 16 hour days of learning, net-working, and tom-foolery, and it’s nearly 2AM right now, so he’s got a right to be beat – We just went through another impromptu “session” with another of the many millionaire and deci-millionaire entrepreneurs we’ve hung with and talked to over the course of this long weekend – The dinners, drinks, and hallway sessions were just as valuable as anything we learned on stage, which is pretty incredible because this event had one of the best line-ups I’ve seen anywhere – I was the only idiot taking notes over Patron shots and dinner at PF Cheng’s – I also made a ton of new friends, both with people [...]

Day 1 of The Continuity Summit – Talking With the Movers and Shakers In Fitness Marketing, Plus A Special Treat
Posted on 15. May, 2009 by 7Figure Sam.
This event is absolutely nuts! I’m having a blast hanging out with Kaiser and helping Ryan out with the event. Everyone here is extremely nice – I almost feel like a VIP like I’m fitting in already, which is kind of crazy.. It’s very hard to consider this weekend work in the traditional sense, but since there’s money involved, I guess you’d have to call it that. Anyway, here are a few more video updates – With the videos, we’re trying to get you the more exclusive, behind-the-scenes type of stuff so that you can get a true feel for what actually goes on in these events during the times between speakers (which I’ve learned is actually the most valuable time). Check out the footage below.. Here’s Joel Marion, who’s brining back the e-book as a way to make serious money in fitness: Alex Moroko talks about how anyone in fitness can easily make a product: You’re in for a special treat with Kaiser and world famous author Mark Victor Hanson. (Watch Mark punk Kaiser at the end!) We met this 20 year old genius marketer at the bar Friday night – hilarious: And this was only Friday!

Getting Ready to KILL IT at the Continuity Summit!
Posted on 13. May, 2009 by 7Figure Sam.
This is crazy. Just eleven months ago, I remember sitting in my apartment a month and a half into my first personal training job when I stumbled across this blog for the first time. Now, here I am less than a year later – I’ve dumped the gym (thanks Kaiser), moved back to the South, have already attended a big industry conference in LA at Bedros’ Event, and I have shaken hands and exchanged phone calls and e-mails with many of the current and future heavy hitters in the fitness industry. And now in the same month, I’ll be helping out behind the scenes at Ryan Lee’s event in Stamford, Connecticut at The Continuity Summit. Like I said, crazy.. Because of Ryan’s background, there’s sure to be a lot of other fitness business owners there. Even one of the speakers, nutrition expert and creator of Warp Speed Fat Loss, Mike Roussell will be in attendance, representing the fitness industry as a social media expert. Goes to show you, there’s room to get involved online – even if you see yourself as more of an old school type of trainer. From what I understand, this whole event is going to be [...]

THE AFTERMATH!!! Fun, Fitness, And A Whole Lot More At The FITNESS BUSINESS SUMMIT!!!
Posted on 10. May, 2009 by Kaiser.
It’s been almost a week that I’ve been back from the Fitness Business Summit, the event Bedros Keuilian threw out in Anaheim last weekend. Over three hundred of the industry’s finest showed up, and with the crowd and presenters included, the whole thing was bananas. And from my end, things were even more crazy – the event itself was just a backdrop for everything that went on. For the first time I met a lot of industry heavy-hitters who I’ve gotten to know but have never met in the flesh. And I also got to connect with a lot of the blog readers and people I’ve made friends with online. The social part of the weekend was even bigger than anything I learned. With all the hanging with friends, eating, and partying, you almost forget there was a conference going on in the background! Here’s a full recount of the weekend: Thursday, April 30 Thursday was real cool. Me and Doug Groce, who you probably know from the blog and is someone really on the rise in the inside of the fitness marketing world, met up at the airport because our flights were arriving at the same time. Me and [...]

NETWORKING for PERSONAL TRAINERS: The importance of networking and introducing the BIGGEST EVENT of the YEAR!
Posted on 10. Feb, 2009 by Kaiser.
Are you doing the same thing you were last year? If so, shame on you. That’s unacceptable in today’s age, and that’s even more true if you’re in fitness. Can I take a guess at the reason? It’s probably because you haven’t been hanging around enough people that challenge you, motivate you, and that you can learn from. That’s where professional networking comes in. All of this virtual, online stuff is weak compared to REAL-LIFE interaction with other people. I think it was Brian Tracy who said attending a conference has 30 times as much useful information as reading a book, but I think he was just scratching the surface. Because beyond the informational aspect of it, there’s the energy you get from being around other successful, like-minded people. This permanently CHANGES you – you can’t really estimate the value of that.
