Final Phase Of Fitness Success | John Romaniello Talks About His New Program
Posted on 13. Feb, 2010 by Kaiser.
You can do great things with a passion for fitness today … You can take an advanced level of fitness knowledge, a commitment to share, and still not compromise your own individuality and personal goals. That’s always been the mission of this blog. And in this post I’ve got a guy that emexplifies it, John Romaniello. John’s a fellow trainer from New York and he’s chosen to advance and expand his career in the newest and arguably most attractive way that trainers have in front of them today – the internet. With his new FINAL PHASE FAT-LOSS PROGRAM, John’s created a unique program that fills a definite gap in the market and allows John to to teach an area that he has come to specialize in, extreme fat loss. You’ll find out all about John’s program and some background info on him below: —————————————————————————— Hey John – first off I want to give you a big congrats on everything you’ve accomplished in the past few months – you seemingly came out of nowhere and have quickly established yourself as an online celebrity. I want to ask you all about the current things you’re up to, especially your new FINAL PHASE [...]

PERSONAL TRAINING: BIGGEST IDEA OF THE NEW YEAR GOES TO JOHN SPENCER ELLIS AND THE NEW MMA ASSOCIATION AND CERT …
Posted on 18. Jan, 2010 by Kaiser.
It’s a great time to be in the fitness industry … believe that. Now there are more tools and programs out there that will allow you to make rapid progress in a short amount of time. We have the fitness leaders in this industry putting together the blueprints to make rapid progress and earn higher incomes, all the while ” letting trainers be trainers”. One new idea I just came across that delivers on all fronts came from my buddy John Spencer Ellis. It’s his new MMA CONDITIONING ASSOCIATION and CERTIFICATION. I had to send him an email about it, and he was happy to answer some questions to give all of us more insight. ——————————————— Hey John – since the last time you’ve been on the blog, your business has grown and a lot has changed, not just with you but with the fitness industry as a whole – what’s new at JSE enterprises? It’s good to be back! Much has changed. I tend to move back and forth between fitness and personal development. Last year I executive produced the movie and wrote the novel called The Compass. That was fun (and a lot of work). This year I’m [...]

FINDING AND GROOMING TALENT FOR YOUR PERSONAL TRAINING BUSINESS (part two of three part series)
Posted on 11. Jan, 2010 by Kaiser.
Here is the formula to getting rich as a fitness professional: 1. Do marketing that yields you a net return on the investment (once you find it, do tons of it). 2. Build systems to handle inquiries, sales, and training. 3. Hire people to do execute your system with no involvement from you. 4. Retire and live at the beach. Easy huh? Nothing new to you I’m sure. Knowing what to do is never the problem. It is always the ABILITY TO EXECUTE. That is and has always been the deciding factor. Any new-b entrepreneur has a good idea every few months. An advanced, hundred million to billionaire entrepreneur can mentally breakdown and construct a new business opportunity in their minds in a matter of minutes … IDEAS DON’T MATTER – IT’S ALL ABOUT YOUR ABILITY TO EXECUTE ON THEM. This ability isn’t something you get overnight. It’s something that you learn, practice, and eventually master. You’ll then be able to make money so fast that you’ll wonder where it was hiding all those years. Whoa, we’re getting ahead of ourselves. As you probably figured out, a major limiting step in this entire process will be your ability to find, [...]

CORPORATE FITNESS PROGRAMS EXPLAINED by Greg Justice: Interview With The Corporate Wellness Program Master
Posted on 05. Nov, 2009 by Kaiser.
Corporate Wellness Programs are one of the most appealing opportunities for trainers today – they can also be the most confusing and intimidating. And since this blog is all about eliminating confusion and overcoming any fear that’s stopping you from making big things happen in your life using fitness, I had to get to the bottom of corporate fitness once and for all … For that I enlisted a man who needs no introduction – he’s the world’s authority on corporate wellness, who’s educated countless trainers about it. And most importantly, he’s really doing it himself. I’m of course talking about Greg Justice. Greg is one of the originators and leaders in the entire trainig industry. He’s a long time training gym owner, an international corporate bootcamp operator, and now the head of the American Association of Personal Trainers as well. Greg was cool enough to come on the blog for an interview and the info he’s shared here is killer. He dropped some gems of wisdom from his years of experience, and shared the info everyone is looking for – how to start a corporate bootcamp yourself. Here it is: —————————————————————————————- Hey Greg, I’m not sure if it’s known [...]

Is RYAN LEE The Most Influential Man In Fitness Today? You Decide … (Part 1 of 2)
Posted on 21. Oct, 2009 by Kaiser.
As I’m getting ready to head over to my bud Bedros’ FITNESS INFO SUMMIT, I got to thinking about fitness, marketing, and the training industry as a whole today … When it comes to fitness and nearly every single training success story in the world today, there’s one person who’s name runs like a vein through all of them: Ryan Lee. Now you could take Ryan’s role lightly as just a guy that was very talented at reaching people through the web, but if that was the case, you’d be missing his impact entirely. Because there’s hardly a person doing, selling, or accomplishing anything in fitness today that wasn’t hugely influenced by him or one of his disciples. There are the online guys like Craig Ballantyne, Joel Marion, and Mike Geary … There are the fitness entrepreneurs like Marc Lebert, Valerie Waters, and Robert Foster … There are the business leaders like Pat Rigsby, John Spencer Ellis, and Nicki Anderson … Even the people that are anti-marketing swear by him and give him tons of credit – guys like Eric Cressey, Mike Boyle, and Alwyn Cosgrove. When you count the amount of business, both offline and online, that he’s generated [...]

Dave Parise Talks TOP-LEVEL TRAINING …
Posted on 04. Sep, 2009 by Kaiser.
For all you you other trainers out there that are old enough to remember 80′s television, we really had some action hits … There was the Incredible Hulk, The Amazing Spider-Man,the A-Team, and just too many more shows to count that probably shaped our addiction to action, speed, and muscle. Among these shows was one I loved in Particular, The Six Million Dollar Man, about a jet pilot horribly injured in a test run; they rebuilt him out of robotic parts into a super, prototype crime fighter with amazing strength, speed, and power. In Personal Training, there’s one guy that conjures up the same images, a prototype star with super powers, on a mission of his own, and that’s my buddy Dave Parise. Dave wasn’t born – he was assembled from the parts of past great trainers. He runs a high end training studio doing over a million a year in sales, so you could call him the million dollar man, but what’s even more impressive is how he does it … He does it without running a boiler room type sales organization – no pushy sales tactics, no aggressive marketing, no high priced info products. Simply high level service, [...]

MARC LEBERT’S GREATEST HITS: The Prolific Inventor of the Lebert Equalizer Tells All …
Posted on 28. Aug, 2009 by Kaiser.
In case you haven’t noticed or you’re new to S-T, there’s some really kick ass content in the archives of this blog. We have the same people spilling better insider info here than on many of the compilation products or paid newsletters out there, and it’s all for free. One guy that you don’t hear much about anywhere else, but is one of the best trainers turned marketers out there, is Marc Lebert. The inventor of the ubiquitous Lebert Equalizer (who doesn’t have one of those?) and the new Lebert Buddy System, has always drawn upon his experience as a trainer to create hit products. He’s also an example of a completely different but just as appealing and profitable form marketing other than information marketing, which is product marketing. If sitting at your computer unshaven, in your boxers for hours (what my life has turned in to) is not your thing then you can always go Marc’s route – it’s just one more example of where this career can go. In this post, I have showcased two of Marc’s classic posts on Super-Trainer. The first is a print interview we did, and the second is me and Marc live on [...]

Update from Jersey at the Fast Track To Fitness Millions Marketing Event For Personal Trainers!
Posted on 30. May, 2009 by Kaiser.
Just got done with the second action-filled day at the FAST TRACK TO FITNESS MILLIONS event. Man, today was crazy but I’ll get to that later …
The first thing I’ve got say is how well run and polished this thing was – you’d hardly believe it was the first big event to be put on by fitness business experts Pat Rigsby, Nick Berry, and Jim Labadie.
And secondly, they attracted a tremendous crowd of nearly 300 personal trainers, bootcamp instructors, and fitness marketing entrepreneurs. It was a sharp bunch of heavy hitters looking to do serious damage in this industry.
Lastly, what stands out is the incredible line-up of speakers. The full gamut of topics on how exactly to succeed in fitness today (not 20 years ago) was covered from top to bottom.
The best part, for me was getting to meet up with all of the other industry people. We’re spread out all over the country, so these events are really the only time for all of us to meet face-to-face – that’s what makes them so fantastic.
Here are some pics of a few of the people I hung out with over the weekend:

PERSONAL FITNESS PROFESSIONAL (fit-pro) MAGAZINE GETS TAKEN OVER BY SUPER-TRAINER!!!
Posted on 21. May, 2009 by Kaiser.

I just visited the Fit-Pro Magazine site and was shocked by what I saw - they have my picture plastered all over the place!
Haha! I’m not complaining – I love those guys and gals over there, including managing editor John Thompson, Josh Vogt in the ad department, and the lady running it all, Shelby Murphy …
Besides my picture being all over the place, they also have a new, highly motivational video by Shelby. Shelby really gets what we’ve been talking about from the beginning on this blog – about how a fitness career is a vehicle for our own personal growth and fulfillment. Here’s the video (notice the broad, important issues she touches on):

BIG-TIME “DREAM-SETTING” FOR PERSONAL TRAINERS WITH SHELBY MURPHY (taking a look at PFP Magazine)!!!
Posted on 20. Mar, 2009 by Kaiser.
If you follow the blog, you know I’m against most industry stuff – most of it is rhetoric to hold up the status quo … and that status quo is trainers getting jerked around in the big gyms, making less than 30 grand a year, and forced to abandon PT and go into other boring careers – all in a career that pays on average, 75 bucks an hour – in my mind, that’s not going to cut it anymore … But one magazine that really “gets” training at its best is Personal Fitness Professional Magazine. They’re the only mag that I really pay attention to, and the only one that I’d consider writing for. This credit has to go to the editor Shelby Murphy. She just put up a real cool video on the PFP home page called Stepping Up. I found it excellent because just like the magazine as a whole, Shelby “gets it” too – she’s calling for us to pursue our absolute highest dreams and view Personal Training as part of that larger mission – here’s her video: Ha! Not what you usually hear, huh? That one really got me psyched and thinking big! Here’s the [...]

THE HEALTH-CLUB SURVIVAL GUIDE!!! How To Survive The Gym And Move On To Big Things In Personal Training …
Posted on 12. Mar, 2009 by Kaiser.
Hey, have you been on the SUPER-TRAINER forum lately? There’s some good stuff happening over there so check it out. In particular, all of us trainers on the forum have come to a consensus on one important subject … It’s about whether you should work in a gym to gain experience when you first become a trainer, or if you can just skip this step and go straight to being independent. As you know, this blog is all about getting out of the toxic work environment of the big box-gyms. But on the forum, we came to a pretty ironic conclusion – that working at one of these gyms may serve a purpose after all. They’ll help you gain some quick experience before you make the jump to doing things privately, outside of one of these “fitness factories”.
