And yeah this post rings so true - I don't know a lot of people, especially, trainers who even know what the heck Google PPC is. Or have thought about SEO (the ones that read this blog are obviously an exception). But this is a business, and I'm convinced that this stuff is crucial to succeed. I like what you said about it actually being an advantage if you take the time to learn it - it's cool to think a one man independent trainer can compete and even have an advantage over the big chains on the internet. I've read it other places too: smaller can actually be better online b/c you have the freedom to adapt and change your marketing on the fly without having to check with anyone else.
