A LOT CAN HAPPEN IN A YEAR! Looking At The Rapid Business Growth Of Personal Trainer William “CC” Matthews …
Posted on 01. Dec, 2009 by Kaiser in Marketing Fitness
Sometimes as a writer, as a fitness program seller, and what not, you’re tempted to take credit for what the people that buy your products and services achieve …
And there’s one guy that’s done some amazing things this year that I’m glad to at least have been a part of, and that’s CC Matthews.
I’m always humbled by the feedback and success stories I get, but then there are some people that you see doing so much that you have to give them credit where credit is due.
CC was part of my original coaching program late last year, and he acted on every piece of info I threw his way.
Since then he went from a solo trainer in a small studio to six employees, doubling the size of his studio, and opening satellite bootcamps that have multiplied his earnings many times over.
So you can say the transition is complete – CC has gone from a student, to now a full fledged Super-Trainer showing us all how it’s done.
For that, I got him on the phone recently for an interview and what came out was some of the most valuable personal training business info you’ll find out in the open, anywhere on the web.
Here you’ve got a guy showing you the inner workings behind every aspect of how he blew up his training business in such a short time. If you’re looking for the same results, I wouldn’t miss a single word of it.
You’ll find the link to the interview below. To download the MP3 to your computer, right click on it and hit “Save Link As”. Or you can just click the link and it will play in your browser.
What did you think? I haven’t heard so much in depth info about running a training business in any of the other interviews we’ve had on here. I think it’s probably because at the phase he’s at right now, CC is paying attention to every detail so it’s all still very fresh in his mind – none of it is completely routine yet (which can happen with a training business after some time).
And you probably heard me and CC joke about it, but at the end, it sounded like he was just getting warmed up and had a lot more to share. That’s why I’ll be sure to have CC back on the blog again in the near future to give us another update and share some more info.
And guess what, another New Year’s is right around the corner. What have you got planned this year? Be sure to set your goals or make your resolutions or whatever it is you do – just don’t aim low, because just like CC has proved, anything is possible.

Good interview! Funny, I think I met CC on the bus on the way to the airport going home from Bedros’s Fitness business summit 09 and he was the one who told me to check out your site Kaiser..

Great story! I had the pleasure of meeting CC and spending some time with him. He’s down to earth, commited, and very focused on helping others become super trainers. I can definitely say that I learn something new or get a great idea when I talk to either Kaiser or CC.
