I am really baffled at times…
I hear so many so called “fitness marketing gurus” always talk about the latest marketing strategies but never once heard them talk about getting clients RESULTS.
Sure everyone got clients that got results.
And some don’t and just use generic “corporate boot camp” before and after pics.
Rant….
If you can’t demonstrate getting your own people in shape then you need to go to the tallest building in your town and hang yourself.

If their hopes are “on hold” clients tend to lose their emotional energy and motivation.
That’s when excuses start rolling in and attendance plummets.
Sooner or later they will withdraw and give up altogether.
Your job as a fitness professional is to create “seeds” of hope in your clients by keeping them to their commitments and doing whatever it takes to help them achieve their goals.

“Sam a local trainer keeps soliciting my clients on Facebook. What should I do?” I answered Go beat the crap out of him. Just joking ;) I did say “Nothing, focus on being the best that you can be”. You see, in this day and age nothing is a “secret” anymore. People are going to find out about your competitors. And competitors are going to try to solicit your clients. Get used to it. Especially with the invention of social networking sites, pretty much anyone can get a hold of everyone.
