(I made these same mistakes) They run their business transactionally rather than relationally. I used to think that “marketing is everything” Well, I don’t think that way anymore. I now go by “EVERYTHING YOU DO IS MARKETING” Let me explain. Do you… [contentbox width=”560″ borderwidth=”1″ borderstyle=”none” bordercolor=”000000″ dropshadow=”0″ backgroundcolor=”F5F5F5″ radius=”0″] Obsess about your Google Rankings more than obsessing about customer experience? Google ranking are important but no where near customer experience. [/contentbox]   [contentbox width=”560″ borderwidth=”1″ borderstyle=”none” bordercolor=”000000″ dropshadow=”0″ backgroundcolor=”F5F5F5″ radius=”0″] Worry about getting new clients all the time rather than taking care of the ones you already have? Just imagine if you never lost a client. Client attrition is inevitable but it’s so much easier and less expensive to keep a client than to get another one. Treat each client like they are paying your mortgage.[/contentbox]   [contentbox width=”560″ borderwidth=”1″ borderstyle=”none” bordercolor=”000000″ dropshadow=”0″ backgroundcolor=”F5F5F5″ radius=”0″] Try to get clients on long term contracts instead of concentrating on getting them real results so they stay and refer longer voluntarily? It’s a very well known documented fact that…. When we take wild animals out of their natural habitats they soon get depressed. And no matter how much we make a zoo look like their natural habitat they still get depressed. I never forget what my favorite comedian Chris Rock said about The Siegfried and Roy, after the incident with the tiger. “The tiger didn’t go crazy the tiger went tiger”

Why clients leave?

Last year Lil’Wayne came out with his song “6 Foot, 7 Foot”.. he told the world about his fling with a girl named Tammy.. “I got my heart broken, by a girl named Tammy But hoes, gon’ be hoes, so I couldn’t blame Tammy” What he meant with this was that although Tammy was fine and Lil’ Wayne was on top of his game.. she still left him for someone else Because in HER eyes.. .. she didn’t get enough attention (And she likes men – but not the point) Now if you’re reading this and have some sort of fitness business, you know how clients can be sometimes.. They sign up full enthusiasm, ready to conquer the world, trim down, and listen to whatever you tell them.. They sign a 6-month agreement.. you think they’re good.. .. but the INSTANT you don’t pay attention for a week, they start floundering around, lose interest, and quit on you cold turkey The point I’m trying to make here is that in the end, a client will always be a client, will always be a client And you can’t blame them for it Yeah you’ll have your ‘lifers’ that stick with you […]

As fitness professionals and entrepreneurs, No matter how hard we work, it seems like there is never enough time or energy (mostly energy) to get all the important work tasks done.     [hyperlink family=”Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif” size=”20″ color=”FF0000″ textshadow=”2″ alignment=”left” weight=”bold” style=”normal” lineheight=”110″ linkurl=”http://fitnessbusinessmixtape.com/sambakhtiar” linkwindow=”_blank”]My Friends Luka And Steve Are The Epitome Of[/hyperlink][hyperlink family=”Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif” size=”20″ color=”FF0000″ textshadow=”2″ alignment=”left” weight=”bold” style=”normal” lineheight=”110″ linkurl=”http://fitnessbusinessmixtape.com/sambakhtiar” linkwindow=”_blank”]Working Smarter Not Harder[/hyperlink] And if you’re blesses with kids, this is even more apparent. As ambitious entrepreneurs we tend to just increase our hours and work longer and longer. What we really need to do is work smarter not harder. [contentbox width=”450″ borderwidth=”2″ borderstyle=”none” bordercolor=”000000″ dropshadow=”5″ backgroundcolor=”C9F4F5″ radius=”5″] Here are some ways to work smarter: ***Have a Plan. A well-thought-out scheme to help guide and direct work activities. ***Schedule your tasks throughout the days, weeks, and months, but do it ahead of time. ***Set concrete measurable goals. Here’s the big differencebetween us and them… And no I am not talking about the Republicans and Democrats. Nor Am I talking about the Bloods and the Crips ;) I am talking about….. People that are notorious for talking bout doing something. We say been there, done that and got T Shirt. Lots of people out there Like to point the finger and say yeah you can do it but not me. Or they can do it but I don’t have time. Those are excuses… Holidays are excuses. Christmas isn’t about Santa Its about Jesus. Thanksgiving isn’t about pilgrims its about thankfulness and gratitude. New years isn’t about starting over its a reset of the calender year. But all come with an excuse to do what you been hiding and doing all year. Making excuses. Holiday prediction…. You’ll gain the 4-7lbs you lost all year in a month.. You’ll run up your credit card on things that you won’t even have by April, and you’ll be nice to people you wouldn’t normally touch with a 10 foot pole. The difference between “us” and “them” […]
