The Future of Personal Training Industry
Posted on 30. Mar, 2010 by 7Figure Sam.
As more and more people are getting interested in having a healthier and more physically fit body, the demands for personal training services also increases. As years go by, the industry of personal training quickly changes. The biggest changes in the field of personal training are yet to come. We will surely see some major changes in this industry within the next 12 months. These changes will change the way personal trainers make more money and attract more personal training clients. This will also change the way how the personal training companiesgets done. So, for the next year, here are my predictions for the fitness and personal training industry. First of all, more and more personal trainer companies will be starting into business as the demands for personal training will continue to rise. Second is about the end of the 60 minute session. Since 2001, this is practiced by some personal trainers. Sometimes, good things take time to catch on. Few years ago, more and more trainers are already doing it. If you will offer a one-on-one session with your client, it is a must that it would only be a 30 minute session. The main reason, I can see, [...]

HOW TO SELL EFT PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS: The Truth Behind EFT No-one’s Talking About
Posted on 29. Mar, 2010 by Kaiser.
Every now and then I like to send an update out to my SUPER-TRAINER customer list with helpful tips that I don’t share on the blog … I haven’t done that in a long while, so I was putting something together this morning and just about to hit SEND when I realized that this info would probably prove useful to every trainer so I decided to put it here. It’s probably only the SIX-FIGURE TRAINERS that will be able to make real use of it, but it’s good food for thought for everyone to keep in mind. It has to do with EFT billing for your training sessions. If you worked at a “big-box” you might have had EFT on large packages, but this is different. What most clubs call EFT is just monthly payments on large packages … What I’m talking about is a billing system that will effect: How your sessions are consumed. The hours you work. How much you make. And to a large degree, your work satsifaction. Even if you have a 24 hour cancellation policy, sporadic training and DAY-BEFORE cancellations will frustrate you beyond belief, severely cut into your income, and probably lead to burn [...]

There are many people who know many things about fitness being involved in some sports activities. There are also many who are interested in weight training and in the other areas. Most of them think about becoming a personal trainer. This is true. However, to have real personal trainer careers, you need to have a professional certification and training which is recognized by national certification organizations nationwide. Many certification organizations are providing trainers interested in personal trainer careers with the credentials necessary for them and that are recognized widely in the country. Though some of these certifications are more expensive than the others, that does not mean that they are always better. The key here is to get a certification from a widely recognized organization. That way, you will be able to perform the profession in any area. If you [...]

KAISER’S BOOK CLUB EPISODE #1: HOW TO GET RICH BY FELIX DENNIS
Posted on 27. Mar, 2010 by Kaiser.
You know every now and then I’ll find a blog I like almost as much as Super-Trainer … Ok I’m kidding, but I did somehow stumble across a MAKE MONEY, GET RICH type of blog recently, and of course there’s no shortage of those online. But this one was putting out some good content and resources, and it caught my attention. The name of the blog was mycomeup.com. And the reason it caught my attention was a streaming video they have playing once you land on the site. It’s a neat, sexy montage of all things having to do with wealth, but that’s now what I liked about it … The background narration to the video are excerpts from the book HOW TO GET RICH by Felix Dennis. This happens to be one of the best books I’ve read in I can’t even guess how long (and I read more books than average). So since I got to thinking about it again, and happened to like the book so much and enjoyed the video, I’d thought I’d officially put out my recommendation for it … Even though it has little or anything to do with fitness, it’s all about the [...]

Transparency: Using A Blog To Build A Training Business (Special Guest Post By Chad Howse)
Posted on 24. Mar, 2010 by Kaiser.
When I started my blog I knew I wanted to show my personality as well as giving fitness advice to people who don’t have a whole lot of time to spend in the gym. Most of my clients have their own companies or spend a lot of time working and have very little time to spend working out, but still want and need the benefits they’d get it they had 5 or 6 hours to spend in the gym a week. I knew I could connect with that kind of person because I also only have around 4 hours a week to spend in the gym, but have found a way to get the same benefits as I would if I had more time, actually maybe even greater benefits. My original goal was to come out with an ebook, which is almost completed, but what resulted was a boost in my training business. I never thought a blog would result in more, even ‘better’ clients, but it’s easy to see how. The role of a fitness trainer has changed over the years. No longer is anyone just a trainer, they’re also a psychiatrist or life coach in a way. People [...]

Posted on 19. Mar, 2010 by 7Figure Sam.
People’s interest in becoming a personal trainer is increasing rapidly as more and more people are getting fat. As a matter of fact, even i want to become a personal trainer myself. Another reason that drives the public interest toward the personal training field is their need to keep in shape. If you are like me who want to become a personal trainer, then, it is a must that you develop an interest in working with people. The very first thing that I learned from my personal trainer friends is that if i want to become a personal trainer, I should not be shy when working with people. Way back in the 30′s, late Jack Lalanne was one of the first personal trainers who was very much ahead of his time. Indeed, he is a visionary. I decided that I want to become a personal trainer because of him. He believed in the fact that there are many problems in this world that could be solved with proper exercise and good nutrition. I became more interested in him when I have learned that he promoted weight training through there are many doctors in his time who are against it. He [...]
