Kaiser Serajuddin: Kaiser here. You’re watching me as part of the blog on Super-Trainer.com and I’m in front of the black background and I have the fancy lights shining on me. You know there’s something important I got to tell you and what I want to do right now is just introduce the conversation I had recently with Dave Parise. He’s a big personal trainer out in Connecticut. He’s the owner of Studio Results Plus and me and Dave had a chance to talk recently and what’s going to come across the interview is really the consummate pro Dave is. You’re going to get the passion that he has for this business and how he approaches his business and if you’re ever in question of whether personal training was a bona fide career, that’s going to be cemented in your mind after you listen to Dave talk. He has been in this business for 20 years. Yes, every certification of the business. He runs a big, successful studio and just that professional mindset that a lot of times is lacking from other personal trainers. That’s what’s going to come across today’s interview. So that’s why I wanted to get […]
[Crosstalk] Kaiser Serajuddin: … to do. You just went head-on and got involved in writing and information and then it all kind of grew from there. Can you talk about that? Like about the beginnings in general? Zach Even-Esh: Yeah. Kaiser Serajuddin: Just jumping in? Zach Even-Esh: Kaiser, that’s probably like the best question because like I just feel this is a mindset. It’s such a mindset game. If you have the right mindset and you really care about who you’re providing services to, you will be successful. When I started doing this, like, there were some big, big names in the industry that were bashing me and just talking a lot of shit. This was like at a time when I was training out of my garage and I had [0:00:46] [Indiscernible] and these guys that were bashing me were like people that were holding certifications around the world, like different countries and I was like these people are so – their mentality, they had such like blazing insecurity of some kid in his …

Craig Ballantyne: … and a lot of people don’t have that fit right but then when we sit down and talk, we can figure that out and just boom, like all of a sudden, everything is very clear and very focused and they know exactly what [Indiscernible] and they know how to find these people and they know how to get these people to refer others. It’s very, very cool and then that’s when things start going from zero to [Inaudible]. Kaiser Serajuddin: Yeah, yeah, sounds good. I mean me and Bedros Keuilian were talking a couple of weeks ago and he brought up a really funny thing. One of his students said once that once you open your mind to the potential that there is marketing and you start studying online marketing, direct marketing, it’s kind of like losing your virginity again which is pretty funny about what he said. But when you talk about that lifestyle change, that’s kind of what it’s like, right? So it’s a major shift. It’s a totally new world. Craig Ballantyne: It totally is. Now this weekend, I was in Vegas at a seminar completely unrelated to fitness and I like going […]

FIVE LESSONS EVERY PERSONAL TRAINER CAN AND SHOULD LEARN FROM THE TERMINATOR …

To do something new, different, and extraordinary, sometimes you need to adopt a totally new way of thinking and acting.  Like they saying goes: “In order to accomplish something different, you must become someone different.” I couldn’t agree more. This line of thinking can get you in trouble or even leave you open to getting manipulated in some cases so be careful … But it can also help you get tons of leverage on yourself to achieve your goals faster than you would have thought possible. Let’s face it, to get something new and different from what everyone around you has, you’re going to need a couple of things: 1.   Models and role-models of the success you’re trying to achieve (that’s why I try to give you a lot of them on this blog). 2.  You’ll need a new peer group of people that want the same things as you, and are as committed as you to achieving them. 3.  You’ll need new information. 4.  You’ll need to take massive action and course-correct based on the feedback you get from your environment. 5.  All that being said, you’ll also need to be a little crazy and have some fun. On […]
Kaiser Serajuddin: Hey. What’s up? This is Kaiser and you’re of course listening to me on Super-Trainer and today my guest, he’s probably one of the smartest guys in fitness online and he’s really showing trainers how it’s done, how to make money online and how to get your message across and really just how to approach getting your personality and your information out there. It’s Mr. Craig Ballantyne. What’s up, Craig? Craig Ballantyne: Hey, thank you very much. I will tell you one thing though. I’m definitely not one of the smartest guys but I probably just am more persistent than most people. That’s all that is. It’s definitely not smart. Kaiser Serajuddin: Oh, OK. But I mean something must have rubbed off on you because I know you hang with a lot of the other top dogs in this business. Those are the people you learned from. So you got some good mentors, right? Craig Ballantyne: That’s huge, man. A mentor is one of the keys to success. I mean I was actually on the airplane yesterday. I was coming back from Vegas and I was reading Dan Kennedy’s stuff who I recommend to everybody no matter […]
